Returns are accepted at Advance auto parts return policy, as long as they comply with our Return Policy. Also you can use their Advance auto parts coupon and get discounts.

PROVEN PURCHASE

Items returned or exchanged within 45 days after purchase must be in NEW condition, which means they have not been used in any way, have not been installed, and have all of their original packing and accessories intact.

Unacceptable returns will not be refunded. Returns under warranty will be handled as either an exchange or a refund, at our discretion. You must produce the original credit card used to make the transaction in order to get credit.

WITHOUT PURCHASE PROOF

Return or exchange NEW products (original condition and packing, unopened and uninstalled, including all original materials) without proof of purchase for an Advance auto parts return policy Merchandise Credit Card.

 No cash returns. Returns will be handled at the item’s 45-day low price.

CONDITIONS 

The return policy does not apply to ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC GOODS or any opened gaskets. Any goods purchased from a third party, such as Special Order items or Business Tools and Equipment, are subject to a 15% restocking charge.

 It’s important to note that shipping expenses are final and cannot be refunded. Return and exchange policies are subject to change at any time for any reason at the discretion of Advance Auto Parts.

Any returns to Advance auto parts return policy are subject to inspection and may need the presentation of a government-issued picture identification.

Subject to applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations, we shall store the relevant information from your ID in a company-wide database of customer return activity used by Advance auto parts return policy and its affiliates to allow returns.

CORE RETURN

Credit WILL NOT be issued until the Core is received, and it MUST be the identical item ordered, in its original packing, and in completely rebuild able, undamaged condition. Always drain fluids.

SENDING BACK WARRANTIES

You have 45 days from the date of purchase, or whatever longer warranty term is indicated on your original sales receipt, to file a claim. In order to learn the specifics, please read our Limited Warranty Policy.

HOW TO GET AN ELECTRONIC RECEIPT

Your Order Confirmation email and the “Your Order Status” section of Your Account will both include a copy of your receipt.

BRINGING YOUR ONLINE ORDERS INTO YOUR LOCAL ADVANCE AUTO PARTS

Within 45 days of the purchase date, you may return your online purchase to any Advance auto parts return policy location. Include the Merchandise Return Form, your original order confirmation email, and the original packaging.

Payments will be refunded to the same card or account used to make the initial purchase. Except for Advance auto parts return policy caused by our fault, we cannot provide a refund for shipping and handling costs.
