Update: Our best MW3 SVA-545 loadout was updated with new and alternative attachments to be up to date with changes made to MW3 since its launch.

Modern Warfare 3 has dozens of weapons to choose from, and your loadout will depend entirely on whether you fancy running maps down with a powerful SMG or taking things a little slower with a sniper.

That, and it'll also depend on which guns everyone is claiming to be the best guns in MW3. There’s a middle ground, though, and our best MW3 SVA 545 loadout will land you with an accurate, versatile assault rifle.

This SVA 545 loadout details all the attachments, gear, and equipment you’ll need to melt through enemies with this rifle’s unique burst-fire in MW3.

MW3 best SVA 545 loadout: best attachments

The SVA 545 is an incredible assault rifle that the most accurate of players will easily killstreak with. It helps that it's available early on in MW3, too. This particular loadout is partially thanks to RaidAway, Cbass, ItsNick, and Hero.

  • Barrel: STV Precision Barrel or NT Quietus Suppressed Barrel
  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor or Shadowstrike Suppressor
  • Rear Grip: Demo 650 Grip
  • Magazine: 45 Round Mag
  • Stock: No Stock or Mane V6 Stock (if using suppressed barrel)

For the SVA 545's barrel, we're going to use RaidAway and Cbass' suggestion of the STV Precision Barrel which will improve the weapons aiming idle sway, bullet velocity and range, gun kick control, and recoil control. Obviously, with such great improvements come some cons such as detriments to ADS speed, hipfire and tac stand spread, and aim walking speed, which our other attachments will account for.

Alternatively, ItsNick suggests the NT Quietus Suppressed Barrel which aids with mobility and handling while also making us undetectable on the map. So, with this attachment, you can actually forget about your muzzle and make room for a different attachment altogether. You will lose some recoil control, but your alternative attachment can make up for this.

As for our muzzle, we’re using the Monolithic Suppressor suggested by RaidAway. This muzzle makes us undetectable on enemy radars while greatly improving our recoil control so we can sneak around the map between gunfights with an SVA 545 that's easy to control. That said, if you want a standard suppressed muzzle that keeps you undetectable while providing no other stat changes, Hero and Cbass' suggestion of the Shadowstrike Suppressor is for you.

Suggested by most creators, attaching the Demo 650 Grip for the rear grip is a must. It will make us even more accurate and faster at killing targets with the SVA 545. It’ll increase our firing aim stability, gun kick control, and recoil control, slightly making up for the reduced recoil control our muzzle and ammo will give us.

Adding a 45 Round Mag, which is suggested by most creators, to the SVA 545 will help us secure more kills. With the TTK being longer and the health pool being higher in MW3, a larger magazine capacity will go a long way for weapons with merely 20 rounds.

Finally, RaidAway suggests equipping No Stock will improve our mobility and handling of the SVA 545 massively by increasing sprint-to-fire speed, movement speed, aim walking speed, and ADS speed. It will also reduce our accuracy and recoil control massively, but fortunately, our other attachments should be making up for that. If you'd rather use a stock, however, ItsNick and Cbass suggest that the Mane V6 Stock, which helps our recoil control and gun kick control massively. If you're running the NT Quietus Suppressed Barrel, then I definitely recommend running this stock attachment too. You can also consider Hero's stock attachment, the FT Tac-Elite V3 Stock, but I'd argue that the Mane V6 is better.

If you opted for the NT Quietus Suppressed Barrel suggested by ItsNick, you can consider alternative attachments such as the XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop or DR-6 Handstop, which aids with sprint to fire speed, ADS speed, vertical recoil, and gun kick control. Alternatively, you could add an optic or laser, but be aware that the laser will be visible to enemy players.

MW3 best SVA 545 perks and equipment

Now that our SVA 545 loadout is established and we’ve got a solid assault rifle in our hands, it’s time to run through what equipment compliments the weapon.

  • Secondary Weapon: Renetti - our Renetti loadout has the pistol feeling more like an LMG, making it better for any surprise short-range encounters.
  • Vest: Engineer Vest - counters equipment and explosives expertise by letting you see equipment through walls, and letting the team see it when you’re ADS. Includes four gear slots and three equipment slots.
  • Gloves: Quick-Grip Gloves - increases weapon swap speed, which is ideal when running two primary weapons. Scavenger Gloves, which let you resupply ammo and throwing knives from dead enemy players, could also be used.
  • Boots: Lightweight Boots - increases movement and swim speed.
  • Gear: Bone Conduction Headset - reduces combat noise, so you can hear enemy footsteps and gunfire more clearly.
  • Gear 2: EOD Padding - reduces damage taken from non-killstreak explosives and fire, increasing our survivability.
  • Tactical: Flash Grenade - a versatile grenade that blinds and deafens targets so you can go in for the kill or delay.
  • Field Upgrades: Munitions Box or Trophy System - you can never go wrong with more ammo, but the Trophy System can destroy nearby equipment and projectiles.
